Some people freeze the moment a camera comes out. I get it. When you feel like you’re being photographed it’s incredibly hard to stay in the moment.
That’s why my sessions are entirely relaxed and movement based. I pair natural direction with an easy energy so you never feel stuck performing. The best photos, the ones that actually last, are the candid ones that capture the true emotion of what it felt like to be there.
Why I Shoot Couples (And My Own Awkward Experience)
I don’t just understand the anxiety of being in front of the lens, I’ve lived it.
When my wife and I were engage she hired a photographer for some engagement photos, and I have to say that it was incredibly awkward. We were just told to stand there, and with zero direction, the smiles felt forced and the moments felt staged. It was Awkward. It was Horrible.
I don't want my couples feeling how we felt. When I see those photos now they just make me uncomfortable because of how it takes me right back to that experience.
As someone who cherishes my own 14 years of marriage, it makes me happy to work with couples who are about to start their own journey together.
My goal is to create the kind of experience that allows you to be present with one another. By letting you be yourselves in the moment, I find the most beautiful and authentic images emerge, far beyond what any posed shot could achieve.

My family is my treasure. Honestly, if I hadn't met my wife and had our children, I don’t think I ever would’ve picked up a camera.
Through the milestones and the ordinary, quiet weekends, I’ve used photography to bottle up what it felt like across the different chapters of our life together. Somewhere along the way, I realized I wanted to give that same gift to other families: real, tangible memories your kids can hold onto when they’re older, and hopefully share with their own children one day.
